Our education is more like an apprenticeship for an office position in the construction industry. Similar to an apprenticeship you complete your schooling as you start your career.  You will get paid by Stubbe’s for the time you spend applying the knowledge you learned.

Free!!  The employer will pay for your education as required.  The time you spend in courses is your commitment.

If you don’t complete the program before moving away from Stubbe’s you will have to pay on a graduated basis for all the courses Stubbe’s paid for in your education.  If you decide to stop pursuing the program but remain at Stubbe’s then you will owe nothing.

As primarily a family-run business, that sense of family and community is evident throughout the organization. People share a strong work ethic, that is rewarded.

Not a problem. Stubbe’s firmly believes in promoting talent from within Stubbe’s if you decide to move areas ie drafting to estimating that is no problem. The knowledge you gain in one program at Stubbe’s will make you better rounded for the new role. 

You will be required to redo the course at your own expense. The way the system works is you pay for the course up front but once you complete it with a passing mark Stubbe’s reimburses you back.

Class sizes will range in size from 5-10 people.  Some of the online courses you will enter may have a larger size, but your program will be much more personable.

Your teachers are a great group of industry professionals who work in the career field in which you are enrolled. Their practical hands-on experience will give you the best mentorship possible.

Yes when you complete the curriculum you are rewarded not only with years of experience already in your career, but also a diploma issued by the Academy of Building Technology.

Your campus is right where you work.  You will be working alongside your teacher as you apply your skills.  Some of the courses will be done online and others will be taught at Stubbe’s. 

Terms are flexible.  For the most part, you get to set the pace.  We will have minimum requirements for you to achieve on a yearly basis but some of the courses you may be able to fast track if you want.  This will be set with your program monitor and reviewed on a regular basis.

No, although a Grade 12 education would be preferred mature and gifted students will be reviewed as potential students at ABT.
